We are excited to announce that we are moving forward with our 2020 football season, but in a limited capacity.

This year will be a Mitey-Mite season only.

In addition, Freedom will not play home games. We will either play as visitors or at a neutral site. Game-day details and schedules are being worked out with the league.

Practice will begin Tuesday 8/4/20 at Big Knob from 6p-8p. We will practice T-F until the high school season starts. Due to the uncertainty of the season, equipment has not been handed out. We will practice in shorts and t-shirts until we can schedule equipment hand out, details to follow.

The coaching staff will include Head Coach, Sam Ward and Assistants Ken Richards, Dane Bailey, Jason Reynolds, and Michael Pierro.

Safety measures will be in place that are an adoption of the Freedom Area School District’s safety polices.

Some of those policies include:
- All players/parents MUST sign waivers prior to their first practice. (Available Tuesday at the field).
- All players and coaches MUST complete symptoms check prior to EVERY practice. Players will need to report to the symptoms check station daily wearing a mask and can remove their mask once completed. Symptoms checks will include a temperature check.
- All equipment will be sanitized before and after practice.
- All players MUST wash or sanitize their hands prior to and after practice.
- All players MUST bring their own water, water sharing of any kind will be prohibited.
- Players or coaches showing symptoms will not be able to participate in practices.
- Parents are welcome to stay and watch practice, but we ask that they do so while staying inside their vehicle.

We thank everyone for your patience and understanding during this time. We believe our safety measures will lead to a safe and successful season. We will continue to communicate any changes that come our way, as we receive information daily.
